Shaping Leadership From the Inside Out

Leadership Offsites

Step away to reconnect, realign, and reimagine what’s possible.

Sometimes, the best way to move forward is to step away.

At Follow the Sun, we design retreats and offsites that give leaders and teams the space to breathe, reset, and reconnect—with each other and with purpose. These aren’t typical corporate gatherings. They’re intentional experiences that blend reflection, structured dialogue, and real connection—often in outdoor environments that mirror the natural pace of change.

Whether you're navigating a major transition or simply craving more depth in your work together, these experiences create the conditions for clarity, alignment, and a renewed sense of possibility.

Retreats are ideal for:

  • Launching new teams or integrating after reorgs, growth, or leadership changes

  • Leading visioning sessions, strategy resets, or post-conflict team healing

  • Rebuilding trust and strengthening relationships in hybrid or high-intensity environments

Each offsite is designed to be memorable, purposeful, and regenerative—offering space to slow down, listen, and return to work with renewed energy and alignment.

These gatherings often become an inflection point—a moment when a team remembers what they’re truly capable of. Whether it's aligning on a shared mission, repairing frayed dynamics, or simply laughing together over a shared meal, the impact reaches far beyond the retreat itself. It becomes embedded in how people show up, make decisions, and move forward—together.

Why It Works

A study from the Journal of Occupational Health Psychology found that time spent in natural environments enhances cognitive restoration and team cohesion. Disengaging from work tasks in nature boosts both problem-solving and relational empathy—two key factors in effective collaboration and innovation (Kaplan & Kaplan, 2005).

What would your team gain by pausing to reconnect with purpose?
